Nozel, Inc. ("Nozel", "we", "our", or "us") provides California payroll compliance tooling. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our products.
Account Data: Name, email, phone number, and authentication details provided through Clerk.
Uploaded Payroll Data: CSV files, employee attributes, and compliance findings generated by our analysis.
Usage Data: Device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, and product interaction events.
Payment Data: Billing and subscription details handled via DodoPayments. Card data is not stored on our servers.
Deliver and improve the Nozel platform, run compliance analyses, and surface findings.
Provide support, communicate about service updates, and manage your account.
Secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Operate subscriptions, billing, and fraud prevention through trusted processors.
Your uploaded data may be sent to AI models to produce compliance findings. Outputs are probabilistic and should be reviewed by qualified professionals.
We use AI only to generate insights for your organization. We do not train models on your data and we do not sell your data.
Service providers that support hosting, storage, security, analytics, AI inference, and payments (e.g., Supabase, AI providers, DodoPayments, Clerk).
Legal, safety, and compliance requirements when reasonably necessary.
Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We retain data only as long as needed for service delivery, legal, or operational requirements.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure, so please use strong credentials and limit access to authorized staff.

Nozel is not directed to children under 16. Do not submit data of minors without appropriate consent and legal basis.
